As the year comes to a close, we wanted to pause and say thank you.
Parents’ Nook exists because families, facilitators, and space partners believed there was room for something gentler, small, relational spaces where children could play, and parents could find rhythm, focus, and community. This year reminded us again and again why this work matters.
We watched babies and mothers experiencing their first separation.
We held early separations with care.
We saw parents use Nook time to rest, connect, and often get real work done.
And we learned that for many parents, these small spaces create a circle of trust and community. It's a micro-community of its own.
We are still very small, and we intend to stay that way for now. But what we’re consistently hearing is that parents are looking for something different — care that aligns more closely with their real schedules, their rhythms, and the complexity of family life. That insight continues to shape how we move forward.
Looking Ahead to January
As we move into the new year, we’re grateful to share that Parents’ Nook will be returning to The Nesting Spot for Birth and Beyond with a Winter Series beginning Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Winter Series Details
• Day: Every Thursday
• Time: 9:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
• Duration: 8 weeks
This series continues the familiar rhythm many of you know — a calm, welcoming space for babies and young children to play and settle, while parents remain onsite and supported.

Planning Beyond One Space
As we reflect on the year, we’re also listening closely to families who’ve asked about Nooks in other neighborhoods and partner spaces. We’re keeping a waitlist for future Nooks as we shape our 2026 rhythms, and joining the waitlist helps us understand where families would like Nooks to take shape next.
With Gratitude
None of this work happens in isolation.
Thank you to the parents who trusted us with their children, shared feedback, and shaped the space week by week.
Thank you to our space partners for opening their doors and believing in a different way of holding care.
And thank you to the facilitators who made the Nooks feel steady, warm, and human.
As we take a few quiet days to plan and reflect, we’re holding deep gratitude for this community and for everything we’re building together.
We’re looking forward to continuing the work slowly, thoughtfully, and in conversation with you.
With warmth,
Parents’ Nook Team
