"The Parenting Nook at The Nesting Spot is so warm, comforting and caring. As a new mom looking to start my son in more social activities Robin and Virginia were so helpful with that transition. My son did not make it easy some days and they comforted him with grace and love. I will most certainly be looking for sessions in the future!"

“As a returning parent, I’m grateful for the experiences we’ve had with Nooks. When we first started, I was curious but unsure how it would all work—and over time, I’ve come to really appreciate the thought and heart behind it. The Nooks team, especially Tanaya and Virginia, have been so kind and welcoming. I’ve seen how much care goes into creating a space where both children and parents feel comfortable and supported. Angela always lights up when she sees familiar faces, and I love that she’s getting time to play and connect in such a nurturing environment. It did take some time to understand how everything works, but I’ve felt more and more at ease with each session. I also appreciate that the team is open to feedback and growth—it makes a big difference to know our voices are heard. Thank you for all the care and effort you put in. We’re excited to keep growing with you.”

"I really, really like The Nesting Spot as a location for Nooks. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing. Wifi is reliable, and it's just a nice space to be in. Not to mention, it's also close to a park and other businesses where a parent can go pick up food before and after. I know that Mirai very much enjoys the sessions. She's been asking when's the next time she'll be able to go. It would be nice to have kids closer to her age, but I know that recruiting people to go to the Nooks is a lot of work. This quarter, I would have appreciated a different day for the Nooks. I think having a Wednesday option would be helpful. For me, the most helpful is when these sessions are super flexible, I know that sometimes you need to have a commitment from parents on when they'll sign up, but for me, flexibility in terms of when we attend is key. I like having a weekly sign up. Things change so much every week for my family that sometimes, I don't necessarily want to sign up for a certain number of sessions ahead of time. Again, I'd be interested in having another day for Nooks. This might change in the beginning of the year for me though. I'm happy to join the board. I'm not sure what kind of commitment you're looking for, but I'm always happy to share my opinions and thoughts."

“I took my 19m daughter to the Palo Alto Philz nook for the third time today. She has had the best time, she loves coming here and talks about ‘nook’ often. All the play facilitators have been wonderful. Thank you so much for having us!!”

"Our taxes are pretty complicated, and the responsibility of collecting all of the data to send to our accountant falls on my shoulders. In the past I'd hire sitters to watch my kids while I plunk away at accounting, but sometimes that resulted in last minute cancellations, limiting my chance of being able to file taxes in April. Since our neighborhood Nook is reliable in their scheduling, I've been able to efficiently utilize those precious 3 hours each Tuesday morning to complete our tax prep and I'm so pleased to say I've finished it in record time! My family and my stress level thank Parents' Nook for doing what they do so well!”
