Hello everyone,
Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting the founder of the Suzuki Music School in San Jose. I’ve been in touch with her over the past few months after receiving interest in hosting a Nook at her space. With everything that was happening last year, it didn’t feel like the right time for either of us to launch something new.
Earlier this year, we received another request, and we decided to start by visiting the space. After seeing it in person, we felt it would be a warm and inviting environment for families. The space is very well organized, thoughtfully maintained, and especially friendly for babies and toddlers.
There is a large hall that we plan to use as the main play space, along with a piano, making this a lovely opportunity for a musical Nook. Tuesdays work well for the space owner, and two separate rooms could serve as coworking spaces for parents, including options for taking meetings.
I’m sharing a few photos of the space below.
To move forward, we would need a minimum of four children to start Nooks at this location. If we reach that number, our tentative start date would be every Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
This Nook is specifically geared toward babies and toddlers between 6 months and 3 years of age.
The program would run for 8 weeks, with sessions held once a week for 4 hours. The fee is $815 for the full 8-week session.
Our lead facilitator and Program Director, Virginia, will orient the newly onboarded facilitators and lead the Nooks. She will be supported by an additional facilitator who is a music teacher, making this a thoughtfully guided musical Nook experience.
If this feels aligned for your family or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. We would love to explore this together.
