Parents’ Nook at The Nesting Spot

Parents’ Nook at The Nesting Spot

Wednesdays from 1st April onwards, 9:45 am – 1:15 pm

For children aged 12 months to 3.5 years, where parents remain nearby while children play, explore, and connect in a warm, small-group setting.

This is a Waldorf- and RIE-inspired space, and we shape Nooks with deep respect for early childhood, including the developmental understanding offered by Piaget. Children are given room for repetition, movement, exploration, and familiarity at their own pace.

At The Nesting Spot, families usually begin in one of two ways: if a session is already underway, you can begin with an observation. If a new session is opening, we generally encourage families to join for 4 weeks.

How families usually begin at The Nesting Spot

If a Nook is already underway, families are often welcome to begin with an observation. This allows both parent and child to experience the space and rhythm before deciding more fully.

If a new session is opening, we generally encourage families to join for 4 weeks. At The Nesting Spot, we have found that young children often settle most comfortably through repetition — returning to the same space, familiar faces, and weekly rhythm over time.

In certain cases, a single-class registration may still be possible, though it is usually not the preferred path in this setting.

Is this for your family?

  • Working from home and wanting to stay nearby
  • Looking for a gentle bridge before daycare
  • Wanting a steady weekly rhythm for your child
  • Looking for a small, warm setting rather than a larger program

What one parent shared

“It’s been a total game-changer for my 20-month-old and me. She gets excited when we say it’s Nook day, and I’m able to get my work done with peace of mind.”

Especially meaningful for families working from home, stay-at-home parents, and those looking for a gentle bridge before daycare.

Become a Founding Family

Help build a continuous rhythm at The Nesting Spot

For this session, we are trying to build a continuous group of families who are interested in a steady rhythm at this space.

We are offering a set of 4 Nooks at a reduced price for families who would like to grow into that consistency together. At The Nesting Spot, we have found that children often settle more deeply when they can return to the same space, familiar faces, and weekly flow over time.

If that feels right for your family, becoming part of this Founding Family circle helps anchor the rhythm for this session.
