We are delighted to introduce The Little Nest Nook Series—a warm, play-based environment for toddlers to explore while parents enjoy a supportive coworking lounge. Each session blends music, open play, and community, helping families find their micro-community and support.

Families with young children are invited to join Parents’ Nook for an autumn series at The Nesting Spot for Birth and Beyond. This welcoming space is specifically designed for families during the stages of birth and early parenting.

The 6-week series begins on September 18 and takes place on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Participants can enjoy a cozy play space for children, along with a dedicated coworking area for parents that includes internet access.

The facility features a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and a changing table for little ones. Complimentary refreshments will be provided, allowing parents to work and recharge while their children play and explore.

Each session will kick off with a welcoming music circle and exploration class tailored for toddlers and preschoolers, followed by free play and exploration of curiosity-inspiring, age-appropriate materials influenced by Piaget's theory of children's work and Waldorf philosophy.

Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the various programs offered at The Nesting Spot, including family yoga, sign language, and other supportive classes.

Our team includes professionals trained in: Early childhood education and development, Music education, Academic tutoring, Doula care and lactation counseling, Infant and child CPR, and Parent support and education.

We ensure a low child-to-teacher ratio (3:1) to provide individual attention and create a calm, supportive experience for children.

Parents will stay on-site in a quiet education room, with various cozy seating options, pillows, and side tables, in a home-like environment, where they can work or relax behind closed doors, steps away from their children.

Our co-host sent us a picture of the coworking space.

Our parent coworker lounge provides high-speed Internet, complementary coffee and tea, and meeting spaces (on demand). Let us know if you need a meeting space we can arrange it for you.
